X-Men: Apocalypse screenwriter Simon Kinberg was interviewed by Entertainment Weekly to talk about the upcoming film. Kinberg told EW that the new Jean, played by ‘Game Of Thrones’ very own Sophie Turner will be completely different than her predecessor, played by Famke Janssen.
“She’s young and isolated and so insecure and very alienated – even from the other mutants – because she’s so powerful,”
he said. He added that though alienated, she will form a bond with Scott Summers, as played by Tye Sheridan.
“She’s a great role to play,”
“She’s so much fun, and her arc in the movie is amazing.”
X-Men: Apocalypse is set to release on May 27th.
