In a recent interview with Collider Video, Deborah Snyder talked about the other members of the Justice League that will be featured in the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The Flash, Cyborg, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman are all set to make an appearance in the film, with Wonder woman having more of a minor role in the film and the other members having cameo’s.
Wonder Woman will be featured in the upcoming DCEU movie but her powers won’t be fully explored in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Instead they will hold back a little so Wonder Woman director, Patty Jenkins, will have more to work with in her solo film.
Deborah: “I think that Zack and Geoff Johns sat down and outlined these stories, many of them at least. Really, we did a chart with what their powers were, like what Superman’s powers were, and I think you see a little bit of Wonder Woman. So we get a sense of her power but we didn’t want to do too much because obviously Patty’s going to build up to that and we’re going to learn how she discovers her powers in that movie.”
As previously stated the Wonder Woman won’t be the only member of the Justice League featured in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg all will have small cameos in the film so their powers really won’t be explored too much for the same reason as Wonder Woman.
Deborah: ” And then with Aquaman and Flash and Cyborg, those are a little bit more cameo, so you see a little bit that there’s something different but we don’t want to give too much away because we were just in the process, and we still are, of developing those scripts.”
