Snyder Says Joker And Riddler Were Almost In ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice’?

This morning Zack Snyder, director of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, was interviewed by Collider about his upcoming DC movie and here is what Zack had to say when he was asked about the Joker possibly being in the film.

“The Joker and The Riddler both came close to being in this movie. We talked about the possibility of putting them in. Chris Terrio and I talked about it a lot and felt that their mythological presence is felt in the movie and that’s cool, but I didn’t want to get my eye too far off the ball because I needed to spend the time, frankly, with Batman and Superman to understand the conflict.”

THE RIDDLER AND JOKER?! Both characters were rumored about to appear along with numerous other characters that are still speculating to make it into the film. The Riddler wasn’t confirmed but his symbol is seen in one of the trailers for the film.

In the bottom left you see the Riddler symbol on the pillar. That is all we have seen of the Riddler and his potential to make an appearance but now that we know he won’t make it to the film and his presence in the universe will be known, I say we should keep our eyes open for more of these symbols.

The Joker has been rumored to make an appearance for sometime with the rumored flashbacks that involve him gunning down Barbara Gordon and beating Jason Todd to death but there hasn’t been much more said.
