It’s official! Steven Spielberg and Harrison Ford will reunite for a fifth “Indiana Jones” Sequel.
Walt Disney Studios announced the upcoming sequel in a press conference earlier today. The as-of-yet untitled sequel is set to hit theaters on July 19, 2019.
“Indiana Jones is one of the greatest heroes in cinematic history, and we can’t wait to bring him back to the screen in 2019,” said Disney Studios chairman Alan Horn. “It’s rare to have such a perfect combination of director, producers, actor and role, and we couldn’t be more excited to embark on this adventure with Harrison and Steven.”
Spielberg and Ford last teamed up in 2008’s Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull, which as many will tell you, didn’t sit right with the fans. Hopefully the upcoming sequel could redeem itself. What do you think? Are you excited to see Harrison Ford back in action with the hat and the whip, or do you believe the series should’ve ended with The Last Crusade?
