The plot synopsis for this episode is:
“Daryl hunts down Dwight. Meanwhile, Rick and Morgan set out in the search for Carol, as she finds herself face-to-face with the Saviors.”
“It’s all over now” Johnny Cash sings at the start of this episode. Foreshadowing of the security at Alexandria coming to an end or something worse? I will start by saying I enjoyed this episode much more than last week’s. This episode was not pure filler and advanced the plot immensely, setting things in motion for the finale and the long awaited arrival of Negan, the next big bad of the show. In this episode Carol is still tackling with her morals and the necessity to kill, while Daryl is dealing with the death of another character by searching for her killer. The inner turmoil of the characters, particularly Carol, is believable and Melissa McBride once again steals the show with her performance. The other actors do a fine job but McBride proves once again that she is the best actor currently on the show. The action and character development was well balanced and the action was well directed. The episode was finely paced as well, it flew by. In all, this episode was another fine one in a mostly good second half of Season 6. What did you think of this episode? Let us know on Twitter!
