After being kept in the dark about the details of the next Marvel movie, we’ve recently learned (via Twitter) that the shooting and production for ‘Dr. Strange’ wrapped last week. Surprisingly enough, we’ve also just learned that the first trailer for ‘Dr. Strange’ will debut next week as a part of Jimmy Kimmel’s Marvel week. The week will be dedicated to current and future Marvel stars in the cinematic universe. The main goal of next week was to promote Marvel’s upcoming “Captain America: Civil War” blockbuster but fans will be in for a treat on April 12th. Comicbook.com was the first to break the news:
“April 11, when host Jimmy Kimmel welcomes most of Team Cap from “Civil War”: Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie and Paul Rudd. That’s followed Tuesday, April 12, with appearances by Benedict Cumberbatch, who will unveil the “Doctor Strange” trailer, and “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” star Clark Gregg. On Wednesday, April 13, Kimmel will circle around to Team Iron Man with guests Robert Downey Jr., Don Cheadle, Emily Van Camp, Chadwick Boseman and Paul Bettany. The week will conclude Thursday, April 14, with a visit by “Thor” star Chris Hemsworth, who’s promoting “The Huntsman: Winter’s War.” “
The film has an all star cast featuring Tilda Swinton, Rachel McAdams, Scott Adkins, Michael Stuhlbarg, Benedict Wong, and Amy Landecker among other actors. ‘Dr. Strange’ drops November 4 later this year.
