‘Fear The Walking Dead’ 2.03 ‘Ouroboros’ Review

This review contains mild spoilers for this and past episodes of ‘Fear The Walking Dead’

The synopsis for this episode is:

“Madison confronts Strand about his mysterious destination. Meanwhile, Nick, Alicia and others inspect wreckage from a plane crash.”

This episode picks up where the webseries ‘Flight 462’ ended, introducing a few new survivors to the series. From the opening, this episode had me hooked. The dark and dreary start with a few characters we’d already come to know from the mini series proves that this is a ‘Walking Dead’ show. A group consisting of Daniel, Nick, Alicia and Chris go to shore to get supplies from the plane’s wreckage and it only goes downhill from there. As if you couldn’t see that coming right? Madison finally confronts Strand and he is still just as shady as ever, even after seemingly revealing some of his motives. The entire episode has an air of suspense to it. As usual, the acting is good and the make up is top notch. My only complaint is the first half of the episode is too slow, and not in the way it has been, there’s a difference between a slow burn and nothing happening. Everything that happened in the first 30 minutes of the show did not need to take 30 minutes. The show then picks up after the second half and that’s when it gets brutal and action packed. This episode is the best of the season so far and I really look forward to where the rest of the season goes. What do you think? Do you enjoy the show? Let us know on Twitter and Instagram!
