Has the Deceased Robin’s Identity in ‘Batman v Superman’ Been Revealed?

Since the first image of the Robin suit in the batcave was released, Many signs have pointed to the Boy Wonder suit having belonged to Jason Todd. Despite this, nothing has been confirmed thus far though a post on the Batman v Superman Instagram official movie account that was made on April 27th may have subtly confirmed this belief.

The post’s caption reads, “Twenty years in Gotham, how many good guys are left?” which one of the most notable lines of Bruce Wayne in the film. Perhaps in saying this, Bruce is alluding to Jason’s transformation into the Red Hood (which would give the character presence in the DCEU). That alone is a bit of a stretch, but there’s another potential clue in the date it was posted as well; April 27th, 1985 is the date that the Joker beat Jason Todd to death with a crowbar. While these possibilities are not fact, it seems so far that DC has a reason for every small detail they place into the structure of their growing extended cinematic universe.

What do you guys think? Is Jason Todd the fallen Robin? Could you see the DCEU making their universe work, having had a different Robin die? Let us know in the comments as well as on our Twitter and Instagram!
