It is safe to assume that Avengers: Infinity War will be much different from any other MCU movie we’ve seen before, just because of how large the scale is. The Russo brothers, however, who will be directing the two-parter, now say that the two individual films of this grand finale will also be very unique, each in their own way.
“The movies are very very different from one another,” said Anthony Russo. “It’s not a part one and part two scenario, necessarily. They’re just two different expressions. I think it creates a misconception that we’re shooting them at the same time.”
Screenwriter Stephen McFeely agreed, saying that “I will agree [the two movies are very different], and that was very important to all of us.”
Part of the reason for this could be that, as of right now, there’s at least one movie scheduled to be released in between Infinity War Part One and Part 2, that movie being Ant-Man and The Wasp. What do you think, what could make these movies, that are telling the same story, so much different? Let us know on social media and in the comments below!
