Creed’s very own Tessa Thompson will soon make her way into the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a very big way. Deadline is reporting that Thompson will be joining the cast of Ragnarok as Thor’s new love interest. The report doesn’t specify exactly who she is playing, her character is allegedly a “kind of superhero” and will appear in other Marvel movies in the future.
Thompson joins a cast that includes Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston. Also making an appearance is Mark Ruffalo, who will be reprising his role as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Cate Blanchett is also rumored to play Ragnarok’s unnamed villain, who many believe to be Enchantress.
Thompson currently stars in HBO’s Westworld, alongside her future Thor cast member Anthony Hopkins. She will also appear opposite Thor actress Natalie Portman in the upcoming movie Annihilation.
Thor: Ragnarok is set to hit theaters on November 3rd, 2017.
