Since the release of Deadpool this February and its tremendous success, people have been talking about an X-Force movie, and even more so after Ryan Reynolds himself stated that it’s a “priority”. In a recent interview with Fandango, X-Men mastermind Bryan Singer (who has directed 4 X-Men films so far, including Apocalypse), revealed that X-Force is definitely up and coming, and even teased a certain character that is rumored to appear in next year’s last Wolverine movie with Hugh Jackman.
“I have discussed that with the studio. I actually initially pitched the X-Force and the female.”
The female? This is very very likely hinting at X-23, a female clone of Wolverine with pretty much identical powers and abilities. She used to be an assassin, working for the bad guys, until a series of tragedies led her to Wolverine, the X-Men and eventually the X-Force, which is a more militaristic group of mutants led by Cable, who we already know will be in Deadpool 2.
