After Sony’s phenomenal presentation at E3 last night, many were floored when it was revealed that the Batman: Arkham series would have another game created by Rocksteady using virtual reality technology. Now, we know the more about the story and how we’ll be playing as the dark knight in October.
According to Mashable, the story will revolve around using your detective skills to solve the murder mystery of Nightwing, Batman’s former protege. The VR experience will take advantage of using Batman’s detective skills and gadgets instead of his fists.
You will start out as Bruce Wayne, making your way down to the Batcave to equip your suit and get a sense for the gadgets before heading off to find Nightwing dead in an alleyway.
Fans of the Arkham games will know that this doesn’t exactly fit within the continuity of the last game, so it will be interesting to see how this fits into the continuity of the series, or if it will be a separate story.
The game will release for PSVR in October 2016.
