As most fans would agree, the Fantastic Four reboot did not instill any faith for the future of the Franchise. Since then, fans have been wanting the rights to switch hands from Fox back to Marvel so that they could do right by the characters (like they have done with Spidey). However, Toby Kebbell (Dr. Doom) has told TheDailyBeast something interesting:
“I tell you, the honest truth is [Trank] did cut a great film that you’ll never see. That is a shame. A much darker version, and you’ll never see it.”
A while back, Trank posted a tweet saying the same thing but took it down because he received too much backlash. But now Kebbell is backing the director, so could it be that there actually exists a cut of this Fantastic Four reboot that would have fans cheering? Maybe it’s stuck in the negative zone and won’t ever surface to us.
