Warning: HUGE SPOILERS for the end of season two and season three of The Flash. If you’re not done with season two, do not read this article.
Still here? Sweet, lets get started.
The only big piece of info we know to be true about the upcoming season three of the CW’s The Flash, is that it will be adapting the immensely popular ‘Flashpoint’ story line from the comics. It starts with the Flash himself, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), altering the time line in a way that prevents him from ever becoming the Flash in the first place. We saw this in the season two finale, when Barry ran back in time to save his mother’s life. Interestingly though, Barry somehow remembers his alternate life and thus tries to regain his powers.
So much for what to expect in season three. We now also have our first big newcomer casting announcement: Harry Potter‘s Tom Felton will be a series regular as “Julian Dorn, a fellow CSI at the Central City Police Department who suspects there’s more to Barry Allen than just his good guy reputation.”
