Star Wars: Rogue One has been in a swirl of commotion recently. Since news broke about reshoots occurring for the movie, there have been endless rumors following right behind. Now, Mads Mikkelsen is talking about his reshoot schedule.
Mikkelsen, who has already been under fire for revealing his character role in the movie, had this to say about the reshoots.
“I have one day. I can’t remember when, in two weeks I think.” Mikkelsen said. “Basically, all the big films I have done always have reshoots, it is part of their budget. They’re either not super happy with a scene bit, the way we were acting, or maybe there’s something they want to add. It’s not a new thing, it happens with every film. Whether it’s bigger or less, I have no idea, I have nothing to compare with. It’s the same film, it’s just adding little bits here and there to do the final polishing. That’s my feeling.”
Mikkelsen makes the clear point that the reshoots are normal, but that he doesn’t know how much is being re-shot. It appears that all is well still with the movie.
Star Wars: Rogue One comes out December 16th, 2016 and stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Mads Mikkelsen, and Alan Tudyk.
