Norman Reedus Wants To Star In A Ghost Rider Reboot

Ghost Rider hasn’t seen the light of day since Spirit of Vengeance way back in 2011. While the rights for the character have been reverted back to Marvel, there has been no outside word of rumors regarding the franchise moving forward. If the flaming headed anti-hero were to ever make his return to the big screen, there is no one better to hop on the bike and lead the franchise than Norman Reedus.

When Uproxx asked Norman Reedus, of The Walking Dead, if he’d be up for the role if Marvel Studios gave him a call, the actor enthusiastically replied with the following.
“Hell yeah. It would be a blast. Do I get a skull face that’s on fire and all that stuff? Fuck yeah. I’m down.”

This wouldn’t be the actors first time dipping into comic book culture as he once played he character Scud in Blade II way back in 2002. Now the main question at hand would be if Marvel does indeed have any plans for the character in the near future. At least now we know someone who is willing to take up the mantle if the ball ever got rolling. Would you like to see Reedus take up the role in a future reboot?
