Shooting for ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Starts on the Fourth of July

Recently, Marvel Studios’ executive David Maisel and Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced that filming for the third installment of Thor movies in the MCU would begin in Australia on July 4th. Maisel made this statement in a video on The Bulletin:

“We opened the offices in Gold Coast about three months ago and we start principal photography in Gold Coast Australia on ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ on July 4 and we’ll be shooting there through to late October.”

So far, we know that Thor and Hulk will take on Hela, and that Loki will appear in some capacity. Not  much information has been released about the film’s plot as of yet, but I’m sure that once filming gets underway we will be seeing set photos and more information will be revealed, so stay tuned for updates.
