With Hugh Jackman’s final addition to the X-Men franchise beginning production, bits of information and photos have begun to be released to the public for Wolverine 3. Little is known as of now, other than the film will occur in the future, or at least it will sit farther down the X-Men continuity timeline than any other previous film. Several set images have recently been revealed, showing Hugh Jackman sporting a grayish beard to contribute to his appearance of being older.
In addition to the Wolverine images, set photos were also released revealing Patrick Stewart’s return to the X-Men Universe as Professor Charles Xavier. Judging by the images, Professor X has also aged considerably. In fact, it may appear as if he may be sick, possibly dying.
As we near the March, 2017 release date for the film, 20th Century Fox will reveal more information regarding the movie which may explain the physical state of both Professor X and Wolverine.
Hugh Jackman will portray Logan for the final time in Wolverine 3, which will premiere in theaters March 3rd, 2017.
