Woody Harrelson Would Love To Star In A Marvel Movie

At a recent press conference for Now You See Me 2, Oscar-nominated actors Mark Ruffalo and Woody Harrelson sat down and spoke with collider.com. As one might guess Ruffalo was asked several questions about his role as Bruce Banner and how he will appear in Thor: Ragnarok, but Woody Harrelson was also asked about superhero movies.

The interviewer asked Harrelson if he would ever have an interest in starring in a superhero film, to which he replied:

“Big interest. In fact, I would love to be a part of that Marvel universe.”

He then explains that he just recently watched 20th Century Fox’s Deadpool for the first time. He said he found the film “phenomenal” and “the writing was great.” Harrelson went on to mention Deadpool was written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who were screenwriters of Zombieland, which Harrelson starred in back in 2009.

While Woody Harrelson apparently has a high interest in starring in a Marvel movie and has voiced this, it will be up to the film studios to make a move in signing him on to a future film.
