Tony Stark’s Biological Parents To Be Revealed

Marvel Comics has been in the news lately with some crazy twists and reveals, most notably with the first issue of Captain America: Steve Rogers, which saw the Sentinel of Liberty being revealed as an agent of Hydra. Well, it looks like Marvel is going to keep the big twists coming and the new one will be seen in the pages of International Iron Man #5 by Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev. It was revealed that Howard and Maria Stark were not the biological parents of Tony Stark and that he was in fact adopted. So the question has remained since that reveal: who are Tony’s parents? On July 27th, we are about to have our questions answered as Tony Stark will come face to face with his biological mother! The description for International Iron Man #5 reads as follows:

As Iron Man takes center stage in one of the biggest events in Marvel history, Tony is finally faced with the true identity of his parents. This is a cannot-miss issue in the life of Tony Stark.

So who do you think are Tony’s parents? A recent article by Newsarama suggested the possibility that Black Widow could be his biological mother. As strange as that might sound, it is intriguing to note that Natasha was born around 1928, so technically she could be the right age. With the reveal of Hydra Captain America back in May and now this upcoming one for Iron Man, Marvel is really going all out on giving the readers new, shocking status quos. So let us know who you think Tony’s parents will be. Do you think it could be Black Widow? Or what about Aunt May? We’ll have to wait until July 27th to find out!
