In other non Doctor Strange related Marvel news, Black Panther has cast Winston Duke, from Person of Interest, as M’Baku, a villain. He is known as a major bad guy who creates big problems in Wakanda, but since Micheal B. Jordan will be playing the main antagonist of the movie, one can assume that M’Baku will be playing a minor role in the movie. Because of that, along with the fact that Duke is not a very well-known actor, they will want to build him up in the first Black Panther movie before using him in a more inclusive way. Or, they could have him be a minor villain for all subsequent Black Panther films, like with Crossbones in the Captain America trilogy.
Duke hasn’t done much in his career yet, as stated above, due to his graduating from Yale School of Drama not too long ago. Other than his role in Person of Interest, he’s been in The Messengers, and Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. He sure got the break of his career with this casting, and hopefully, he’ll deliver for Black Panther.
