CEO Of Warner Bros. Expresses Confidence In ‘Wonder Woman’ And The Future Of The DCEU

Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad have been criticized by fans and critics seemingly to no end. With the release of the latest Wonder Woman trailer though, many seem to be changing their opinions of the future of the DCEU. Once Kevin Tsujihara (CEO of Warner Bros) put Geoff Johns and Jon Berg in charge of all the DCEU movies, fans began coming around a bit more also. The CEO expressed his confidence in the choice he’s made, as he knows what fans have found to be lack-luster in the previous 2 DCEU installations and is making an effort to cater to us more. He also went on record in an interview with the New York Times stating the following:

“The thing that really makes me confident is that I’ve seen ‘Wonder Woman,’ and it’s great.”

Judging by the trailers and the hype, Wonder Woman seems to be gearing up as the best entry in the DCEU thus far. However, the hype for BvS as well as Suicide Squad made them both out to be better than how they were widely received. We’ll just have to wait and see if Wonder Woman follows the same pattern or breaks the chain.

What do you guys think? Are you expecting the trend to continue with Wonder Woman? Do you still have faith in the future of the DCEU? Let us know in the comments as well as on our Twitter and Instagram!
