Being one of the most well-liked actors in Hollywood sure gets you places. Three years ago, Ezra Miller was a rising star climbing through the ranks of stardom, determined to get to the top. He starred in Indie movies,he starred in low budget movies, he pretty much starred in anything he could get his hands on.
Not only was he a joy to work with onscreen, he was also well liked behind the scenes as well. Come back to 2016 and Ezra is everywhere. He’s starring in the Harry Potter spinoff, Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, which was no easy task to land a role in. He’s also starring as Central City’s own Barry Allen in a movie set to release in 2 years, The Flash. Landing both of those roles has thrown him in the spotlight and fans are enjoying every second of it. He recently sat down to talk about his role in the upcoming spinoff and even had some things to say about his role in The Flash, fully confident in the film’s direction despite losing its director a few days ago:
“Sometimes they make me run. Which I was outraged because I thought, you know, playing The Flash, this will be great, you can’t see him running so this will be easy! No, no, Ezra, we need you to run. We have this enormous treadmill that’s called, I think, The Tumblelator, that’s like 25 feet long, goes 45 miles per hour and its bouncy, like a trampoline. Pretty much a dream come true. Then, they strap me into a harness, we do all sorts of stuff. What we’re creating is a vocabulary; where choreography meets visual effects. And what we’re trying to implement is a wide diversity of tactics of how we create these moments and… A lot of The Flash, is his perception.”
Fans were quick to speculate and say Ezra might have accidentally revealed the Cosmic Treadmill, a staple of the comics and the show currently airing on the CW network. The Cosmic Treadmill is a treadmill that can go up to mach 5 speed and was specifically built for Barry Allen to test his limits in an endless sprint. You can find Ezra Miller’s full interview below:
