Lucas Till Talks About Havok’s Death In ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’

The actor of Havok, Lucas Till, has opened up about his character’s death in X-Men: Apocalypse. In an interview with Cinema Blend, Till expressed about how he felt dying in the movie by the hands of Apocalypse.

“I thought it was really cool. I feel like people are always like ‘Oh, it’s X-Men. It’s X-Men you can always come back.’ But I was like ‘No, I think it’s cool that I died.’ I think people were kind of nervous to tell me that I died but I thought it was really neat.”

Till has played Alex Summers/Havok since 2011’s X-Men First Class. Summers died in an explosion in the mansion, and he was the only person Quicksilver couldn’t save during his famous sequence.

On Havok’s possible return, Till had this to say.

But also it is X-Men and you don’t really see me die and if I can withstand cosmic energy coming from my chest I might be able to withstand some extreme levels of heat. Maybe that level fell just right so that maybe I survived, I don’t know. I thought it was cool though.

Right now no one really knows the future of this franchise, and which characters will be returning. Only time can tell.
