‘Aquaman’ Gets Pushed Back To December 2018

It has been officially announced that 2018’s Aquaman will officially be moving from its original October date, to its new date of December 21, 2018. Borys Kit from the Hollywood Reporter tweeted the following.

Once Avatar 2 was officially announced to be pushed back, it seems like Warner Bros wanted to capitalize on that holiday crowd, and release Aquaman during Christmas time. December over the last few years has been the time a new Star Wars film has been released, and each one of the have grossed over a billion. This year Disney is also releasing Star Wars: The Last Jedi this December, which also will make a billion. It looks like Warner Bros will now take that slot away from Disney in 2018.

This isn’t the first time Aquaman has been pushed back, because its original release date was indeed in July. Then it got moved to October, and now December.

Aquaman’s new release date is December 21, 2018.
