‘Assassin’s Creed’ Is Getting A TV Show

Despite the mixed response from the Assassin’s Creed movie from last year, Ubisoft has confirmed that they’re working on an Assassin’s Creed TV show. In a Reddit AMA this week, Aymar Azaizia, head of content, admitted to the show’s existence and that the show’s production was moving along. He didn’t reveal any other details though (understandably).

“We will take our time to get sure we deliver something we can be proud of.”

Ubisoft’s TV and film division, Ubisoft Motion Pictures, will probably be handling the show, just like they did for the Assassin’s Creed film and the animated Rabbids Invasion series, which you can find on Nickelodeon.

We don’t know anything else about the show, from who will be partnering up with Ubisoft to who’ll be starring in it. We’ll probably find out more during Ubisoft’s E3 press conference, along with the probable announcement of the a new Assassin Creed game. There have been rumors that the game would be called Empire, rumors that Aymar Azaizia has tried to squelch.
