Henry Cavill Has Joined Tom Cruise In ‘Mission: Impossible 6’

It looks like Tom Cruise is going to get the help from Superman himself in Mission: Impossible 6. Henry Cavill (Man Of Steel and Man From U.N.C.L.E.) is set to star in the follow up to the thrilling Mission: Impossible-Rogue Nation which was released in 2015. The news broke via Christopher McQuarrie’s Instagram account, below in the comment section (that’s a new one). The director posted a photo of him out scouting locations (below) for the filming of Mission:Impossible 6 read the exchange between the two after the picture.

“@henrycavill excellent. Just a few caveats: must enjoy extreme heights, high speeds, motor vehicles of all varieties (especially aircraft), practical stunts, firearms, and sporadic exposition. All good?” McQuarrie asked.

“Only if I get to fly for real,” says Cavill.

“I do believe I specified practical stunts. You in?” McQuarrie ask him.

“Oh ok…..I’m in!” Cavill said.

“Outstanding. Welcome aboard. Your social media account will self destruct in 5 seconds,” Jokes McQuarrie.

While Cavill has played a spy in Guy Ritchie’s The Man From U.N.C.L.E., which is underrated in my opinion, we are hoping to see a lot of him next to Cruise in Mission: Impossible 6. Sources from Variety say that Cavill will play a right hand to head of Cruise’s departments so I would speculate somewhere near Alec Baldwins character. I just hope Henry is in some of huge action scenes when they happen. Here’s to hoping!
